About the Role


As a Brand Ambassador, you are responsible for front-of-house (FOH) operations during your shift, including dispatching delivery and meal-kit orders, assisting customers with pick-up orders, and maintaining a warm and welcoming FOH environment.


Role Details

  • Pay Rate: $19.00
  • Job Location: Downtown Brooklyn
  • Position Type: Varies, Full-Time & Part-Time available


Responsibilities

  • Maintain a warm and welcoming FOH  
  • Greet every guest as they enter in a welcoming, professional, and upbeat manner 
  • Educate customers on our brand, the Wonder app, and restaurants 
  • Assist customers with in-restaurant orders via point-of-sale system and cash payments 
  • Clean the front-of-house by wiping down tables, organizing desk, sweeping floors, collecting garbage, as needed
  • Assist customers with pick-up orders 
  • Assist customers placing in-restaurant orders via point-of-sale system 
  • Dispatch delivery orders and meal-kit boxes 
  • Receive, sort and assign incoming meal-kit deliveries  
  • Review all orders to ensure completeness and accuracy 
  • Dispatch all orders accurately to couriers for delivery or for in-store pickup


Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of customer-facing or hospitality role experience 
  • Friendly and positive attitude, making everyone feel welcome
  • Ability to work independently and be proactive in taking initiative 
  • Possesses strong organizational skills and pays close attention to details
  • Ability to solve problems creatively
  • Comfortable using smartphones and eager to learn and adopt new technologies
  • Adaptable to different communication styles with various customers
  • Must be able to exhibit effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong team player


Requirements

  • Must be 21 years old and legally authorized to work in the US
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds
  • Must be able to stand for a full shift while working
  • Must have weekend availability
